Regional Women’s Championship Playoff: Epiphany Warriors and Halifax Queens gain promotion to the Women’s Elite League
FC Epiphany Warriors and Halifax Queens have both qualified to play in next season’s Malta Guinness
Women’s Premier League after finishing 1st and 2nd in the Women’s Regional Championship playoff for
the Southern Zone.
FC Epiphany Warriors finished at the top of the table after winning all five matches in the playoffs, while
Halifax Queens secured 12 points after losing only to the table toppers.
Both clubs represented the Greater Accra Region as GARFA Zone A and B winners, respectively, and
have thus qualified ahead of Rootz Sistaz, Luta Thunder Ladies, Mfantseman Royals, and FC Sarmatex
Ladies.
The Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League is scheduled to return later this year.
